Product Description

by Joy Manne Ph. D. (Author)

We are breathing beings. From our birth to our death, our live is defined by our breathing. When our breath stops, so does our life. And yet, how many of us know anything about our breath? At its simplest we breath in, our breath pauses, we breath out, our breath pauses, we breath in again. But each part of our breath has its own profound symbolisn. Inspire and expire are words about our breath. Everything we do and everything we are starts with our breathing. This is an introduction to your breathing and your breathing patterns with exercises to help you to understand and be inspired by your breath.

Author Biography

Joy Manné has a BSc in Psychology and a PhD in the Buddhist Psychology of the Therevada Canon. One of the obstacles she had to overcome before achieving this goal was learning Sanskrit. Part on her reward was her husband, whom she met at a conference on Buddhism. She also took training in Spiritual Therapy with Hans Mensink and Tilke Platteel-Deur in Holland. Part of her reward was the skills to keep the in-loveness of her marriage lively through nearly thirty years. Joy is not very good at being formal.
