Product Description

by David M. Gillespie (Author)

This book is about various Spiritual gifts, primarily about the nine listed in 1 Corinthians 12. Since the early 20th century move of God known as the Azusa Street Revival, there has been a great deal of study and writing about the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Since that time, vast numbers of people have received the "blessing of Pentecost", or the baptism with the Holy Spirit. There is a continual stream of new believers and new recipients of the Holy Spirit baptism who need to be taught. The author's goal is to explain the gifts of the Spirit, what they are, how they work and how they operate together.

Author Biography

David is a licensed Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, through Victory Ministries, Inc., under Pastor Darrell Huffman of New Life Church, Huntington, WV. For five years, he was an instructor at the National Outreach Bible Institute, New Life Church of Charleston, WV. In 1985, heI was impressed by God to write a book about the present day work of the Holy Spirit. That same year, during a church service, God confirmed through the Pastor, by the Spiritual gifts known as the Word of Knowledge and the Word of Wisdom (1Corinthians Chapter 12), that God called him to do it and that the writing was to begin at that time. Since then, The Lord has continued to bless David with this Bible teaching ability. David is a member of Mensa and to date, has written ten books on Bible subjects
