They learned to trust God more fully for the wisdom and strength needed in their senior years. A number of them endured personal losses or coped with national disaster. These men and women ran life's race with an ever-present awareness that life on earth is fleeting and that eternity is a reality. Abraham, Sarah, David, Anna, Peter, John, and many others lived long lives to the glory of God. Their lives offer insights for us as we run our race.
