While working for the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health's tobacco reduction program, she led the team that took the county from one of the highest youth smoking rates in the California to one of the lowest. She has been awarded the Red Ribbon and Carol A. Mills Awards for her work in Community Drug Prevention.

Author Biography

Kay Adkins is the author of The Reiki Series. Okay, so far she's really just the author of Book One of The Reiki Series, Community Reiki. The others haven't been written yet, but I assure you she's working on them. (Look for Distance Reiki to be Book Two of the series.) Kay has her Master of Public Health in Behavioral Science and Health Education from UCLA. She's also an Usui/Holy Fire II and Karuna Reiki Master, so she's legit when it comes to being a Reiki Crusader.
