Author Biography

Joanna Wojdon, born 1973, is an Associate Professor at the Institute of History, University of Wroclaw, chair of the Department of Methodology of Teaching History and Civic Education. Her research interest includes also the history of the Polish Americans and public history. She has authored an award-winning White and Red Umbrella: Polish American Congress in the Cold War Era (1944-1988) (Helena History Press, 2015), and Textbooks as Propaganda. Poland under Communist Rule, 1944-1989 (Routledge, 2018).
