Author Biography
Thomas Scharler was born in 1990 in Schwarzach, in the province of Salzburg. In 2016 he founded the medieval showman group "Die Schattenwache". Through the world of the Middle Ages he discovered the ocarina and became hooked with it and medieval music. As there were almost no suitable notes for the ocarina, he learned to arrange the notes to be able to play them. With his books he pursues two big goals: - To make traditional music playable for the ocarina. - To bundle and compile the hardly findable medieval sheet music.
