Coal for Christmas - By BonSue Brandvik When Bad Gordon steals Santa's Time-Stopper-House-Hopper and tries to ruin Christmas for all the nice children, it's up to Marcus to help save the day, even though he is certain Santa is only bringing him Coal for Christmas

Author Biography

BonSue Brandvik writes in two genres: Children's picture/activity books and Paranormal/Historical/Romance novels. In both genres of fiction, her characters achieve personal growth as a result of the trials they endure. Her non-fiction children's book teaches valuable astrological and geographic information while entertaining readers. Her children's educational activity book, titled "Where Do You Live, Exactly?" receives high praise from parents and teachers for putting the universe into terms a child can understand. Her new title, "Coal for Christmas," features a naughty African American child who helps Santa save Christmas for nice children, even though he expects no reward for his efforts. BonSue also works with preservationists, fighting to save and restore the historic Belleview Biltmore Hotel; the inspiration for a series of novels she is currently writing. She published the first novel in the series, titled "Pearls: Spirits of the Belleview Biltmore, Book One," and now she's hard at work on the next book in the series, titled: "Ripples," Book Two. BonSue lives with her husband in the tiny, but historic town of Belleair, Florida. When she isn't writing, BonSue volunteers some of her time to lead Clearwater Writers Critique group, and to serve as the Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Board in Belleair, FL. She is also a court-appointed Guardian Ad Litem, advocating for children, and she volunteers as a docent at the Heritage Village Living History Museum. She also offers to speak to various groups on topics ranging from Weaving Historic Facts into Works of Fiction to The Amazing History of Florida and the Belleview Biltmore. When it comes to leisure activities, BonSue enjoys reading, photography, gardening, golf, camping, and helping care for the family koi pond. She is also addicted to Facebook and "Words with Friends."
