Author Biography

As a Chief Guide on Kilimanjaro, Aristarick Benard has been conquering Kilimanjaro for the past 6 years. He was born on the base of the mountain, learnt his trade carrying kit bags and then qualified as a professional tour guide from a College in Arusha. He has helped many climbers get to the top and works with local Tour companies. Currently a twiga explorer, having been to the roof of Africa more than 80 times. Wayne (Joe) Evans, lives in Cardiff, in the UK and has three beautiful daughters who are his total inspiration! He spends his free time (surprisingly) walking (hopefully up mountains), but runs various companies since 1998.
