Over the past 20 years Wendy has served in many areas of ministry, from Director of Women's ministry where she served for 9 years, to counseling, volunteering and as the senior pastor's assistant of a mega church in Florida. Throughout life's journey, Wendy has always had a desire to write. The story of Climber and Friends is based on real animals that Wendy encountered throughout her life. Wendy believes that all God's creatures have qualities that we can learn and grow from. She hopes that this story will give children something to think about and learn from. Wendy currently lives in Vermont and is the mother of two grown sons, and grandmother of three precious grandchildren. Wendy loves to use the creative gifts God has given her through cooking, baking, writing, drawing and is currently taking piano lessons.
