To my friends who are getting ready to begin this study guide workbook- The book "Cleansing and Igniting the Prophetic: An Urgent Wake Up Call" is very dear to me. Several years ago, I spoke at a national conference with Lou Engle and a conversation we had together in private changed my life forever. He said, "Jeremiah, pay attention to your tears, for they will point you to your destiny." His words in that moment hit me like a ton of bricks I said, "Lou, when I weep in the secret place, I cry for the contemporary prophetic movement. I see the destiny ahead of us, but I know we will never get there unless we are cleansed and ignited like never before." It is out of my broken heart that deeply and sincerely desires prophets and prophetic people to become all that the Father has intended them to be that I have created this practical study guide as a tool and resource for individuals, small groups, churches, and ministries around the world. I have great hope that those who choose to journey through this study guide will be encouraged, challenged, healed, convicted, and sense the urgency that comes within its contents. The greatest days of the prophetic movement are ahead of us, yet deep cleansing and igniting must come if we are to become all that the Father has intended us to be. Each chapter in this study guide contains smaller portions of the reading found in the book and ends with discussion questions that are intended to provoke discussion, contemplation, and further study and prayer. My goal is that by the end of our time together, you will possess a greater understanding of the prophetic ministry, the pitfalls that often come with it, and a clear vision of what prophets and prophetic people must give themselves to in the days ahead. Author Biography
Jeremiah Johnson planted and serves on the eldership team at Heart of the Father Ministry in Lakeland, Florida. A gifted teacher, prophet, and multiple book author, Jeremiah travels extensively throughout the United States and abroad as a conference and guest speaker. Jeremiah is also the founder and director of Maranatha School of Ministry. MSM is a fulltime five-fold ministry training center that equips and sends out end- time messengers.
