We are all born into a quandary. Abandonment and abuse as an infant are inevitable. Likewise is our well-founded belief that there is a reason for everything, and we must deserve exactly what we get. Thus begins a life journey of inner torment and conflict between our low self esteem and our innocent rage concerning our abandonment and abuse. Our life is colored by the how, if and when we meet and/or resolve this conflict. Carl Peterson's conflict created serious prostate cancer and forced him to become uncompromisingly intentional in finding the source of his dis-ease and resolving the underlying causes. In the process of resolving- and healing- the emotional issues that plagued him for 68 years- and the cancer that threatened his life- Carl discovered his real self and the unconditional love that had always lain waiting beneath his worst fears, patiently waiting in the indescribable silence beyond thought.
