Product Description

by Nancy Hardwick Turner (Author)

Chrysanthemum Peg, a tiny piggy who had prosthetic surgery to restore a missing leg, is introduced to Fairyland by a kind, spirited child who wants the best for the differently abled petite piglet. Education is important to the pig, and Fairyland seems to be just the place for her to learn about the world around her. From the moment her journey begins, she is led around by a friendly greeter gnome, then by a scholarly cherub, and she learns about manners, science, world travels, books, and more. She is able to use her new leg and hoof around Fairyland on all fours while meeting all sorts of flighty fairies, charming cherubs, and knowledgeable gnomes. At the end of the day, Chrysanthemum Peg's little head is full of new and interesting information, and she is excited to see what the future holds for her in this new land.

Author Biography

Nancy Hardwick Turner is a school nurse from Dallas, TX. The mother of three became an empty nester when her last child went off to college. Even her pet chicken flew the coop. With a love of gardening, Turner filled the coop with plants, gnomes, and fairies. When a niece gave her a three legged piggy for the garden, the nurse knew she had to help the petite porker.
