Author Biography

Dr. Benison Kofi Asare is a Naturopath, Iridologist, Pranic Healer, Nutritional Healer, Motivational Speaker, Historian, Master Herbalist and Author. He is one of the several African Natural Healers reported to be "Born Healers." Dr. Asare is a trained teacher, adult and youth counselor. He is an avid proponent of generationally transmitting African cultural values and best practices. His book, "Chosen to Heal: African Traditional Health Care As A Way Of Life"(c)2008 (ISBN 978-9988-6303-7), takes a important step in that direction. Dr. Asare excels by example in his collaborations with African Americans and others throughout the Diaspora. Dr. Asare has been giving talks, seminars, workshops and certification classes internationally since 2006. He has given talks on various health subjects to several institutions, doctors and conferences throughout Ghana as well as in Malawi, Togo, the United States of America and Malaysia. Dr. Asare has over 300 remedies, recipes and formulas using a system called "The Science of Wellness." Dr. Asare runs a course in African Healing Science and Nutrition in Ghana and in many cities in the U.S. He lives in Ghana and can be reached at: Pamahealth2@gmail.com. Dr. Carnita Groves is a holistic social scientist, licensed professional counselor, motional speaker, wellness consultant, author and fitness instructor. Dr. Groves has formed or helped to form many professional and social organizations. In 2014, she was awarded an honorary doctorate degree in recognition of her extensive work. To date, Dr. Groves has published 21 books (including this workbook. She has also written numerous online holistic mental health articles. In Colorado, Dr. Groves taught psychology at the college level for several years. She has given many public presentations on psychological wellbeing and African Psychology, helped facilitate an array of conferences and is an avid organic gardener. Dr. Groves repatriated to Ghana West Africa in February of 2014, from Denver, Colorado-U.S.A. Her vested interest in the wellbeing of Africa and Africans brought her into awareness of the dynamic reputation of Dr. B. Kofi Asare and his ongoing work.
