Dr. Paul W. Allen has a bachelor's in professional accountancy (BPA), an MBA, a DBA in Accounting, and is a CPA (retired). Holding the distinction of Professor Emeritus from Mississippi State University, he has authored numerous academic and professional journal articles in accounting and finance, served as a reviewer on many other articles, and has had some of his work republished as chapters in several books. Because Dr. Allen's Christian worldview supports the notion that following a wise investing approach that seeks to minimize risk while offering solid return potential is consistent with principles of good financial stewardship, he is sharing his investing strategy so that others can also reap its rewards. Dr. Allen continues to teach college accounting courses today, including how to analyze the balance sheet to assess the quality and value of a company's common stock.
