Uwe P. Gielen, PhD, is founder and executive director of the Institute for International and Cross-Cultural Psychology as well as professor emeritus at St. Francis College, Brooklyn Heights, NY.

Jaipaul L. Roopnarine, PhD, is Pearl Falk Professor of Childhood and Family Studies and director of the Jack Reilly Institute for Early Childhood and Provider Education at Syracuse University.
