Jeff Simmons is a former news reporter and teacher from Washington, West Virginia. He is a graduate of Ohio University, with degrees in journalism and education, with concentrated studies in world history. He is the author of "Wipers: A Soldier's Tale From the Great War" and "The Bonus." He currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio.
