Unbeknown to the Allies, Stalin's security forces inadvertently locate a peasant girl who is the spitting image of Hitler's girlfriend, Eva Braun. They coerce her into submitting to be swapped with the assignment of killing Hitler, when she receives a code word. The two "impostors" meet, fall in love, and know they can never be with the other. He can't tell her he is not the monster she has to kill someday.
