Author Biography

Nacido en Cuba, Julio C. Vera es graduado en letras de Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, y recibió un máster en Bellas Artes de la escuela de cinematografía de la University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) y un máster en ciencias de la información y biblioteconomía de la misma universidad. Se dedica a escribir obras de teatro, televisión y cine en Los Angeles. Su primera obra de referencia genealógica, El Censo de 1680 de La Gomera y El Hierro, se publicó en el año 2016. Cuban-born, Julio C. Vera received his bachelor of arts from Carnegie Mellon University, a master of fine arts from the film school at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a master in library and information sciences from UCLA. He currently writes for theater, television and film. His first genealogy reference book, El Censo de 1680 de La Gomera y El Hierro, was published in 2016.
