Product Description

by Sharon Hoskins (Author)

This is the story of Carri Sue, a young girl who came and went from our world in what most would believe to be fur too short a time. That is the crux of this story, because sometimes, too short for one person is really too long for another. When I think of too short, I think of her age. She was so very young when she passed, but at the same time, she was so very young when she began to suffer as well. Would any of us trade places with her? Would any of us walk the path she walked, no matter how short and suffer as she did? I wouldn't take her place, partially because she had her own path to walk in life and I have mine. But it's also because I prize some of the things she lost during the course of her illness and decline, and where she would've learned cowage because she had no choice, I would've run from her path like the biggest coward. I would've denied what she faced. I would've hidden from what she handled. Those are the things I've had to consider and I must say that perhaps, just perhaps, too short for one little girl who suffered a lot might've been just long enough.
