Product Description

by Aarian Daniels (Author)

Carey Overcomes Dyslexia is a book about Carey, a young girl who learns to accept and overcome her dyslexia with support from her family. Join Carey on her journey to understand her learning disability, navigate the challenges that face her and ultimately overcome them. Aarian Daniels is the founder of Lex Talk Dyslexia, an advocacy group in Coastal Virginia dedicated to raising awareness for children with dyslexia through education and community programming. She was empowered to create Lex Talk after receiving news that her youngest daughter had dyslexia. Through Lex Talk, she hopes to equip other parents with resources that were not available to her and inspire children with dyslexia to reach their full potential. Aarian lives in Hampton Roads with her husband, Carey Daniels and their two daughters, Nilyn and Nauri Daniels.
