What overseas real estate investors need to know to get it right when buying in America. Foreword by Than Merrill of FortuneBuilders. An AlphaBiz! Guide that can be of equal utility to American investors as the overseas investor buying in the U.S., it takes the reader through each step of setting up an investment structure, finance, banking, and taxation, among other topics. Included FAQs and an extensive glossary make information easily accessible.

Author Biography

Frank Yacenda has had an international outlook his entire life, beginning as a child setting up pen pals for classmates and crossing the Atlantic and Pacific by ship. Since 2010, he has been setting up U.S. companies for overseas real estate investors. In between he was a diplomat with the U.S. Department of State, served a range of international clients in his award-winning public relations and advertising firm, worked as a journalist and science writer covering U.S. and European space programs, and lived, worked, and traveled in 70-some countries around the globe. Combining this international perspective with decades of business and real estate experience makes him the ideal guide for his many overseas clients and, not coincidentally, the author of this book.
