Product Description

by Oscar Nielsen (Author)

This paper addresses the problem of an institution that defines as a management objective the implementation of a system of indicators to support decision making, based on a Business Intelligence (BI) solution. In this sense, the challenge focuses on the design of a system that allows the implementation of a solution that is not only efficient, but also sustainable over time. For this purpose, we worked with primary information obtained through in-depth interviews; and also from the identification and documentary and bibliographic survey and important processes, in order to detect strengths and weaknesses related to the generation of data with impact on the indicators system. Finally, based on the data collected and their analysis, information was obtained to formulate a proposal for a management indicator dashboard model aligned with the institutional strategy, as well as considerations for the sustainability of the system.
