Author Biography
Karen Armstrong is a woman determined to not allow her past to hold her down but to pick up the pieces of what was supposed to kill her and live life to the fullest. For, in her book, Karen portrays a world that shocks and stuns you, but at the same time present moments of dry humor that reinforces the adage that truth indeed is stranger than fiction. Karen was born in New Jersey. Her mother was a prostitute, father unknown, and to say her childhood was 'challenging' would be shortchanging truth. Early on, her obsession with honesty forced her to face reality and deal with it. A lot of that helped her rise above adversity and acquire a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Psychology from Liberty University in 2014. Today, Karen wants to help people like herself using her knowledge of human behavior and her own story. At one point in her journey, she turned to God - an experience that shattered her fundamental beliefs. She then sought God on a more personal, relationship level, which made her dig deeper into reality and initiated a process of true healing. Karen lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her five children and grandson where she encourages other women that there is a "Message in the Mess". She is also owner of the up and coming new entertainment in arts with Sip N Vision the Ultimate Vision Board party experience. Where she teaches and coaches women on how to go from creating a vision board to living the vision board.
