Join a group of toddlers at their preschool as they make new friends and together discover the joys of all the seasons.

In this nearly wordless picture book illustrated by Caldecott Honor medalist Margaret Chodos-Irvine, a group of nine toddlers at preschool make new friends and enjoy the pleasures and excitements of spring, summer, fall, and winter together--including the adventure of a scary-loud thunderstorm.

Author Biography

Sarvinder Naberhaus is the author of Boom Boom and Lines. She lives with her family in Ames, Iowa.

Margaret Chodos-Irvine comes from a long line of craftspeople, so she approaches her work as if tailoring a suit or cobbling a shoe. It all has to fit and look beautiful at the same time. To do so, she uses a variety of printmaking techniques to create innovative patterns, vivid colors, and uniquely textured imagery in her work. She has illustrated eleven books for children and has been recognized with starred reviews and other honors, most notably a 2004 Caldecott Honor Award for Ella Sarah Gets Dressed, which she both wrote and illustrated. Margaret lives with her crafty family in Seattle, Washington.
