Product Description

by Tom Kirkbride (Illustrator), Tom Kirkbride (Author)

In Book II of the Gamadin adventure series, Millawanda has parked Harlowe and his friends on a planet with no life, no breathable atmosphere, no beaches, and no In-N-Out Burgers at the edge of the solar system's largest extinct volcano. Our young heroes are broken, hungry, and lost, with no knowledge or skills as to operating the most powerful warbird in the galaxy. Survival, then, becomes a minute-to-minute existence. If that were not enough, a military presence conscripts their souls, while back home, their families must contend with . . . a government that wants its property back

Author Biography

Tom grew up on the beaches of Southern California, where his GAMADIN saga begins. While in college, he was a lifeguard in La Jolla, California. Tom is an avid swimmer, skier, world traveler and artist. All of the artwork you see on the GAMADIN website is his, including the cover and interior art for his novels. The GAMADIN book series evolved from Tom's love of science fiction and the desire to write a thrill-packed, character driven adventure for young adults. Tom left the beaches of San Diego for the trees of Oregon with his wife, their dog Jack, 2 horses, far too many cats.
