Maintaining the family winter tradition, Pastor Haugen with his wife, Helen and their three teenage children whisked away to South Lake Tahoe after Christmas and will remain there until the New Year. Upon reaching their destination, they notice a Range Rover has stalled in front of their property. Two gentlemen are waiting for roadside assistance. As a kind gesture, Pastor Haugen and Helen offer the comfort of their home until help arrives. They're especially pleased to find out one of the strangers owns a property a few miles away. The family has settled in, and due to a sudden change in the weather pattern, conditions worsen. It's late, roadside assistance calls, and it may be several hours before anyone will arrive. Once again, the two strangers are offered a generous act; and this time to stay the night. As the evening is bowing into night, moral compasses are revealed, and the once believed congenial strangers are in fact gay. Conversations explode! The entire household is fixated on the pastor's action to maintain control. Everything he's spent his entire life teaching and preaching is now on the line. Will he remain within the will of God or does human nature compel otherwise? A murder? An Accident? Someone dies before six o'clock the next morning.
