In 1750 This is the story of the Martin family of France: Grandfather Benjamin; Grandmother Christine; Father Andre; Mother Denise; Son Alain; Daughter Julie. They have emigrated to Canadian Acadia to escape heavy taxation and to find a new life in the New World.
