Product Description

by Christopher Nye (Author), Otto Scharmer (Foreword by)

Envision a better world. This unusual book provides a compelling vision of what the future could look like. Nye calls for no less than a transformation of consciousness, and he shows how it can happen. His holistic vision of education and growth, fostered throughout one's lifespan, can liberate people from conventional thinking and an unsustainable status quo. He also takes up transformations that can occur in agriculture and the economy, with examples that are already working on a small scale.

Author Biography

Christopher Nye is an outside-the-box thinker who has taught courses like strategies for social change. With a PhD in American studies, his interests range from farming to finding ways to open people and communities to their best future. He is President of Springboard Foundation for Whole Person Learning and helped found Educate the Whole Child, a national network for transforming public education. He is also a published poet and has been a professor and dean.
