Kathi Greene's professional life has always revolved around children. Whether it was her 20 years as a dance instructor, working as a church youth director, or now as an educator, Kathi has seen the importance of preparing children to be successful in whatever they do. As a parent, she knows how special a child's "firsts" can be. Her experience as a Kindergarten teacher has also shown her that the unknown, although sometimes scary, can also be fun! Her creative style as a teacher, and now author and illustrator, has given her the opportunity to reach children and parents during these fundamental first-time experiences. Kathi was born and raised in Minnesota and continues to live there with her husband and two children.
