Author Biography
Isabelle Brent is an internationally known artist who has illustrated more than two dozen children's books. Her aptitude for fine work set in geometrical patterns is very much Isabelle's distinctive style, but owes much to her interest in medieval art and illuminated manuscript. From this interest stems her rare talent for the precise gilding of intricate patterns. Her stunning use of gold leaf has become the artist's trademark. She is also well known as an illustrator and designer of fine stationery, greetings cards, gift wrap and gift bags as well as jigsaw puzzles.
