Nancy Stine, the author of "Bentonite Clay" brings to the table: certification as a Nutritional Consultant, and many classes and seminars on health-related subjects such as Biokinesiology, Position Release, Touch For Health, Therapeutic Massage, Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Nursing Arts, Vitamins/Minerals, Herbs/Bach Flowers/Homeopathy/Cell Salts, and various other holistic related. Her series, "Heal Yourself Naturally " came about as research of the clay as the result of a personal experience with the clay's healing powers. She wanted to learn what makes the clay's powers of healing. Stine is 80 years young, and has a background in nursing care and health and wellness. For several years she was a nutritional consultant/reflexologist/massage therapist using the techniques of holistic health. Alternative health care and taking charge of her own health care have been long time interests. Nancy Stine, who has raised four children, enjoys the clean air and open spaces of the countryside, residing just outside Flint, MI. She is an avid reader and internet research is a hobby. She also occasionally researches family genealogies, scrapbooks, and enjoys camping with her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She recently authored a children's book series - Benji and Poppy Children's Books - which emphasizes the loving and enjoyable relationships between grandparents and their grandchildren. Also, she has authored the Kitza and Petey: Ghost Sensitives cozy cat mystery series under the pen name Kate Townsend O'Keefe and two other fiction stories.
