Her pursuit of knowledge didn't stop there; she went on to pursue a dual Master's Degree in Applied Family Science and Case Management Certification from Wilmington University. Despite facing adversity at Wilmington University, including a suspension due to circumstances beyond her control, she remained resolute in her pursuit of her goals of wanting to guide others.
Despite her academic achievements, La'Asia found herself engulfed in a retaliatory legal battle that would test her resolve like never before. As she stood before the judge, ready to present her case, she was met with pressure from the state's attorney to settle by signing a homeschooling document. However, La'Asia remained resolute, refusing to compromise her rights and her child's education.
Representing herself in court, La'Asia faced numerous challenges and obstacles. Despite moments of doubt and fear, she persevered, guided by her unwavering faith in God's plan.
