Product Description

by Carol Hordis (Author), Angela Amoroso (Author)

It's not always about the waterfalls and beaches, sometimes it is just about the people we meet on our travels that show you more beauty than any landscape can.

I have a desire to make something beautiful come from a sometimes very ugly and dark reality.

Living, for Angela, was not just about her struggles and challenges, but learning to live despite them. She recognized and believed that we all had struggles, and she believed that each person's challenges were equal to hers. Angela did not believe that cancer gave her struggles greater weight than any others.

I want to remind people that terminal doesn't always look terminal and that you never know what's beneath the surface.

Throughout the seven years Angela was in treatment, she/we always balanced treatment options with symptoms, level of disability, and quality of life. It is a narrow beam to walk without a right or wrong answer. It is about balance, but this scale has more than two sides.
