Product Description

by Tracey Booth Owens (Author)

Author Biography

Tracey Booth Owens grew up in the heart of the Lowcountry, surrounded by the salt air, marsh light, and the creative spirit of her father. From an early age, she worked with her parents at the gallery and has continued to nurture connections with her father's collectors and local conservation organizations. With a background in history, library science, and decades of volunteering and community leadership, Tracey brings both heart and depth to Beacon of the Lowcountry -- a richly illustrated biography and tribute to her father's life, art, and enduring vision. Through Jim Booth Legacy Art, the second-generation company she now leads, Tracey continues her father's artistic and philanthropic mission by donating and selling select original paintings, prints, and posters to support nonprofit organizations. With every story and every artwork that captures one, she invites readers to experience the beauty that shaped her father's life, and to be part of the legacy he left behind.
