Grandpa used to be a marina patrol officer, but he wanted to do even more to protect the beach. Grandpa decided to learn all about conservation and how to protect the environment. On beach days, he teaches his granddaughter about changes in the environment and what she can do to keep our oceans cleaner and safer for ocean creatures. She learns from him as they pick up trash together and observe mollusk shells, but the best thing about beach days is spending time together.
