This manual is intended for new Java programmers or professional programmers in other languages who want to try out Swing with little or no effort. A minimum knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming is assumed. Also that you have a Java programming environment (Netbeans, Eclipse, etc), which you know how to handle basically, installed on your computer. And, of course, a lot of curiosity and desire to learn.
