Product Description

by Anna Black (Author)

SHORT and SIMPLE meditations to use throughout your working day to REDUCE STRESS, strengthen FOCUS and CONCENTRATION, and IMPROVE THE QUALITY of your day.

Do you feel like you're working more than ever before? Do you find it difficult to "switch off" from work?
Does your job sometimes lead you to become overwhelmed or anxious? If so, you are not alone--but this guide can help.

Mindfulness expert Anna Black's simple but effective practices will help you to perform well, minimize stress, enhance working relationships, and be more productive at work.

Striking the right balance between work and personal life can feel challenging, but by applying the principles of mindfulness to our working lives, we can become aware of our habitual negative thoughts and behaviors and learn to recognize and manage the warning signs of stress--an all-too-common part of modern life.

Anna's suggestions are applicable to both office-based workers and those who work from home and she covers a range of topics including working mindfully with others, paying mindful attention in meetings, and using meditation to cope with stressful situations.
