She is excited for her debut picture book series, based on her experience as an editor and the love of storytelling she has passed down to her three young children. Irena Freitas is an author and illustrator currently based in Manaus, Brazil, working for clients internationally. She has an MFA in Illustration from Savannah College of Arts and Design and loves illustrating people, funny situations, and whimsical stories.
