In the adult population there is less epidemiological data, but the studies carried out indicate that adhd also manifests itself in adults and with a notable frequency. The results of these studies have found prevalences of adhd between 4% and 5%. Currently in spain only 3% of adults have been diagnosed with adhd, in many primary care and psychiatric consultations, many adults go to them and are treated for pathologies such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse disorder, when really in the in the background, these pathologies are comorbid conditions of undiagnosed adult adhd.
