Author Biography

Matt Kennard is a forester and land manager in St. Augustine, Florida. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry (2007) and Master of Science in Forestry (2013). "As Firefighters Slept" was his first novella written after returning from a firefighting assignment to Oregon in August of 2014.
