Product Description

by David Emmanuel Harris (Author)

This book was birthed to heal myself and others from childhood trauma with God at the center of the process. In the book, I share my testimony while identifying what the "golden child syndrome" is. Revealing the long-term effects, it has on us, and how to release the pain that has stemmed from the childhood traumas that damaged us all the way up to adulthood. lastly learning not to place our trauma on how we view God but to see him through the truth of who he really is.

My name is David Emmanuel Harris; I am 24 years old. I was born and raised in the rough but charming city of Baltimore. I grew up in rough areas my whole life but through the grace of God, I have been able to see more than just what the city has to offer. The inspiration of this book was seeing how my childhood trauma was affecting me in real time and writing was my outlet to heal. I love to learn in ways that make me think outside the box and to use what I learn to share the love of Jesus to others. My hope is that my life will be a testament to God's goodness and power.
