Product Description

by Steve Foxe (Author), Fran Bueno (Illustrator)

Step inside the Archives of the Unexplained--the thrilling middle-grade graphic novel series that uncovers history's most mysterious, hair-raising events. First up: the secrets of Area 51!

Creepy has never been this captivating. In Archives of the Unexplained, we dive into real-life mysteries, unexplained phenomena, and strange historical events, blending fact, folklore, and suspense. Each book focuses on one or two mysteries, presenting a lively, detailed, and open-ended exploration that sparks curiosity and chills.

When TJ attends his uncle's funeral, he expects nothing more than a boring day. But a hidden door in his uncle's office leads to a secret basement and a trove of classified documents that reveal a world of unidentified aircraft, shadowy gray men, and alien conspiracies. What secrets will TJ uncover? And will the mysterious men in black who appear at the funeral stop him before he finds out?

Perfect for fans of mystery, science fiction, and adventure--this is a journey into the unknown you won't want to miss.

Author Biography

Steve Foxe is the Eisner and Ringo Award-nominated author of over 100 comics and children's books including X-Men '97 and the Spider-Ham series from Scholastic. He is also the co-creator of Razorblades: The Horror Magazine alongside James Tynion IV, and is the editor of W0RLDTR33, The Deviant, and the multiple-Eisner-nominated The Department of Truth at Image Comics. In the world of licensed kids books, he has written for properties like Pokémon, Mario, LEGO City, Batman, Justice League, Baby Shark, and many more. He lives somewhere cold with his partner and their dog.

Fran Bueno's goal has always been to draw comics, and he started doing it professionally with Os Escachapedras, written by Marilar Aleixandre. Shortly afterward he published fleetingly in France and more regularly in the United States, for collections such as Noble Causes or Graveyard Shift, both written by Jay Faerber. He has also published pamphlets, advertisements, manuals, and books for children and young people in Spain, France, UK and USA. His other personal projects include Ribao, a comic written by Diego Ameixeiras, and another one created entirely by himself, called Mother Star.
