Product Description

by Susan Larmon (Author)

It's the year 2022, and the COVID-19 pandemic's deadly grip on the world's population appears to be relaxing. In a Pennsylvania hospital ICU, however, a woman in her seventies lies in a coma attributed to the virus, and is fighting for her very life. Luckily, Eliza's guardian angel is watching over her, and has a plan. Disguised as her nurse, Angela enlists the help of Eliza's husband Jon, to subconsciously begin to fill his wife's receptive mind with memories of all the amazing adventures they have shared over the past twenty-five years.

Eliza starts to dream of their travels together to Wiesbaden, Germany, and her three-year National Security Agency tour of duty that took them to Paris, Athens, Rome, and Tunis in the late 1990s. Her memories, such as finding a long-lost cousin of hers while in Germany, singing with German and American choruses throughout her career, and finally owning the German car of her dreams -- all inspire Eliza to try and cling to what remains of her life on earth. But will her efforts and those of her angel and her family be enough to save her?
