Ancient Travels chronicles the travels of Liu Bin and his student Pei Ke as they journey through China to Liu's ancestral home. On the journey Liu teaches his student the fundamentals of acupuncture and Chinese internal martial arts. Even though the format is a novel the story covers topics taught in beginning courses in acupuncture schools but told in a simple to learn format.
