Product Description

by G. M. Moore (Author)

City kid Corbett (Griffy) Griffith III is back at Whispering Pines Lodge for the summer, ready to leave his family troubles behind. When he and Pike help clean up after a massive storm, they uncover ancient artifacts hidden by the waters of Lost Land Lake. As they research the artifacts, they find themselves in a battle against a cunning, desperate archaeologist. The rewards of this prehistoric discovery belong to a new friend, and Griffy is determined to help save his business no matter what. The boys won't abandon a friend. No way. It's do or die now. Can they protect their find?

Author Biography

G. M. Moore is a former newspaper writer, editor and columnist. She currently works as a magazine art director and writes fiction as a hobby. The author grew up battling game fish and exploring the lakes of northern Wisconsin, and uses that state's enchanting wilderness as her muse. During the summer months, you can still find the Chicago-area author "up north" and out on the lake. Moore is also the author of "Ghosts of Manitowish Waters," an action/adventure romance for young adult readers. Moore was inspired to write her first book, "Muskie Attack," by her then 9-year-old nephew who, in a literary world filled with fantasy, was struggling to find books that appealed to his outdoor interests and adventurous spirit. When not writing, Moore can be found walking her dog, Piper, or feeding the fish, birds and flying squirrels in her Snow White-like backyard. Connect with Moore on Facebook at facebook.com/upnorthadventure, follow her on Twitter @upnorthbooks or visit her Web Site at gmmoorebooks.com.
