Product Description

by Bev Jaremko (Author), Jeanette Debusschere (Illustrator)

This is a workbook for children to work through gently every day, with allinstructions to parents or caregivers inside. The course supersimplifies thelearning task so little kids experience success every day and understandwhat is going on easily and naturally. Letters are introduced one at a time, the sound the letter makes is explained by a logical story (eg. cc is curl, ss is snake) and only lower case is taught. Poems, songs and visual memorydevices help the child remember the letters and then put them together toform words of increasing complexity. In this way the child is led intoskills to read around 500 words and only then is instruction given in theupper case letters, again with stories of how they grew. (b got a new bump, B) More information is at the author's website atwww.anchorsandsails.
