Author Biography
Dr. James H. Broussard (1941-2020), a native of Texas, was a scholar of American history and the founder of the Society for Historians of the Early American Republic (SHEAR). For the last 36 years of his life, he taught at Lebanon Valley College where he created the Center for Political History and was founder and Chairman of the Citizens Against Higher Taxes, a political action committee to advocate lower taxes in Pennsylvania. Broussard was also the author of The Southern Federalists, 1800-1816 and Ronald Reagan: Champion of Conservative America.
