Product Description

by Barbara S. Lucas (Author)

All About Me, career/work decision-making was written for those in job finding, career changing, improving one's life mode. All About Me, career/work decision-making details how to use six, no-to-low cost internet-based quizzes to determine the specifics of the six areas that define each individual's career/work life: 1. Your purpose-what you are to do 2. Your genius, superior and very good areas 3. Your aptitudes-your natural abilities 4. Your learning style-the best environment for you 5. Your values- what guides you 6. And, your archetypes-your ancestral influences The quizzes are similar to the ones some career counselors/life planners give so that by doing the work of this book you can: 1. be your own career counselor/life planner 2. or, verify the results received from a career counseling/life planning consultation. By doing the work outlined in this book, the reader gains a clear, specific identification of who they are and the career/work that can give them satisfaction and success. This book reminds us that each of us is given talents, abilities and interests that are unique and tailored to who we are really and what we are to do in this present life experience; that each of us is meant to be healthy, prosperous, contented, contributing beings who are loved and are loving.

Author Biography

Barbara S Lucas spent her early childhood in a West Virginia coal mining village with immigrants from Eastern Europe. The rest of her growing up and early adult years were lived in a West Virginia farming area. Her father was a steel worker whose family has been in Appalachia from the sixteen hundred's. Her mother was a first generation American whose family was from Czechoslovakia and Germany. Work is one of the core values of these groups which explains why this is one of the topics the author often explores. Barbara S Lucas is a graduate of West Liberty State University, West Virginia University and Sedona University. Her degrees are in education and metaphysical counseling. Today, she writes and speaks about how to have a life lived from one's strengths and in the overflow of all good. She meets with individuals in private session to help them discover and accept their strengths and to let go of anything that prevents them from having the life they were meant to have, the life that has prosperity, health and harmony in all its many aspects and variations. She lives near Atlanta, Georgia.
