Product Description

by Augie Ristow (Author)

This book is a result of a Christian man's search for a deeper spiritual connection to his Lord Jesus Christ. Though well trained as a Lutheran pastor and theologian in a small, Bible believing church body, Augie Ristow still felt something missing. Read on how Pastor Augie finds that deeper spiritual connection in Agape, The Forgotten Teaching of Jesus.

Author Biography

Augie Ristow is a transplant to the sunny southwest. Married, with five grown children, he enjoys exploring the wonders of nature and taking on repair projects in his workshop. His career as pastor spans four decades, seven churches, and now a specialized ministry known as interim. He calls it the business of "fixing broken churches." Augie's steady and loving presence helps restore floundering churches to spiritual health as they prepare for a new pastor. He says that the work is very fulfilling, even though his stay at a church is for a brief year or two. "Agape: The Forgotten Teaching of Jesus" was written to help Augie understand God's Agape and what it means for every Christian. The book recounts Augie discovery that a Christian's love is healed and made holy by God's Agape to change lives forever.
