Author Biography
Marvin E. Carolina Jr., a Vice President at JE Dunn Construction and a former business owner, writes articles specifically designed to help small-business owners grow their businesses. He has written many articles for The Kansas City Star and Thinking Bigger Business magazine. Marvin, along with the programs he created at JE Dunn, has been recognized for his community involvement in Kansas City: Ace Award, Community Champion, and Top Contractors for Diversity. He has also been recognized for his community involvement across the country, receiving the Innovation Award in Houston and the Hispanic Community Builder Award in Atlanta. Marvin holds a Master's degree in Community Development from North Park University (Chicago) and his Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management from Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta).
